First day of the group of Manhattan College. Together they have discovered the city of San Pedro de Macoris and understood the way that people go buy some food. They also have visited old age people in a comunity in Consuelo. Good discussion and great debates are starting in this group..

Young people from Manhattan College from New York work for a good 2hrs cutting the cane in the bateye. What an experience for this young people. It was a hard day spend with many Haitien people. We ended the day with a debat on international issues. What a great group. Thanks to the Dominican for there great animation.

Taking time to understanding what the brothers of De La Salle do in the bario Simone Bolivar was for us a great moment ! Very hard to realize the condition of live for many familly, we say that education is much imporant in life. James, a member of the group has givien his guitar to a blind young man from the bario. What a emotional moment for all of us. Thanks James !.

Together we explore the fare trade in a coop called Conocado in Hato Major. What a great day spend among Dominicans that had taken time to show us there country. We take this opportunity to spend a good time for a reflection on a top of a montain. Great chance together to share about different topics for great debates.

A day of working in the orphenage helps us to understand better the situation of lots of kids in the country. Thanks to N.P.H. they have put up a home for this kids. Working at the orphenage give us a very special moment to realize how lucky we are in life.
