1. The Doing My Part contest is open to any participant of the Dominican Experience in 2010.
How to enter
2. No purchase is required to enter. Enter the contest by writing up a text of 2 pages on an implication in your community (1) provide personal and contact information (first and last name, date of birth, postal address, telephone number, email address), and (2) provide the name of your group that is participating in the Dominican Experience. Only one contest entry per person.
3. The virtual rally must be completed no later than September 30, on either the info@third-world.net (English) or info@tiersmonde.net (French).
Prizes
4. Two (2) individuals will receive gift prizes flight tickets to the Dominican Republic. The two grand prize winners will be chosen by jury based on pre-established criteria.
5. The names of the 2 winners, along with the question on development, will be posted on the promotional web site: www.third-world.net.

Choosing winners
6. The two (2) grand prize winners will be chosen as follows. A jury will read the answers on your text on implication in your community and will choose the two (2) grand prize winners based on their answers. The answers will be judged according to the four (4) following criteria:
* Originality (40%)
* Strength and clarity of the message delivered (25%)
* Quality of language used (spelling, syntax, vocabulary) (20%)
* Relevance to contest theme (15%).
7. All winners will be notified. Only one prize will be awarded to the address provided by a contestant.
Other conditions
8. Contest organizers reserve the right to withdraw any contest entry deemed not to comply with eligibility requirements.
9. This contest is open to all participants participating to the Dominican Experience 2010.

10. All entries submitted, and any documents submitted with them, become the property of the Dominican Experience which may use them at its discretion.
11. Dominican Experience may use for promotional purposes, at its discretion and without compensation, all information submitted for identifying the winners such as photographs, their image, spoken remarks, place of residence or statements made by them when prizes are awarded.
12. Any false statement or refusal to meet the requirements of the contest by a contestant shall automatically result in disqualification from the contest.
